Freddie never had Halford's range, this is some media bullshit. Freddie has great timbre and delivery, but his range never was that large. Rob is for sure has the greatest range in history of rock music. Tim probably is the second closest.

This was actually my first concert!! I was 16...guess who opened for them? Bon Jovi!! In Ottawa, Canada! I met a group of guys...all we did when Bon Jovi was on was scream PRIEST!
