I think the descriptive term of "re-inhabiting these songs" is most appropos--he has injected so much more life experiences into these songs and the feeling is quite evident, I'm just glad I had a chance to see him perform back in 99...he ended the show by saying : well what did you think about that!! obviously rethorical :)
