Thank you. Very well done. I have 1 question. Once the roles are transferred, and the new DC is the master, what happens to the map drives on all the client machines? for example, if a map is \\dc1\data, once you restart, will it change to \\dc2\data? Will I have to transfer all the data and recreate the structure?

Thank you for your very informative presentation. I came across a scenario where RID, PDC and Infrastructure roles list the same Domain Controller for Operations Master and Transfer. Because if this transfer will fail with error message: "The current Domain Controller is the operations master. To transfer the operations master role to another computer, you must first connect to it." Any thoughts?

Hi, Thank you for you video. It's really clear and very well explained. I have a question. So all roles could be transferred from the target FSMO DC except the Schema role. So in case of failure of the DC holding all roles we could switch all of it to another DC except the schema role. Any possibilities to transfer it too in this case?

Why we transfer role in one DC to second DC ..you should say DC and ADC And making ADC to DC with the help of transfering files .. students can't understand half video ..
