I LOVE Ena failing to conceal her inner softness near the end. Such a perfect, beautiful episode, all character driven, just as Corrie was for so long and stills should be.

Delightful Christmas episode and very with the times (for the day) - ending with the Beatles. I thought for a moment Minnie and Ena were to have a remembering Martha moment.

I did read somewhere that the kids at the panto were children of people who worked on Corrie, the crew etc, and their friends. I believe some of the kids were grandkids of the actors too.

You can see the stage training in the older actors, they can project their voices very well and enuniciate. The actress playing Lucille Hewitt was hard to hear and didn't have much presence. And the She Loves You by the Beatles was just a chart topper at the time..not the timeless classic it is now.
