Thank you so much for doing this talk and acknowledging and educating on ME/CFS. My daughter developed ME\CFS (which includes hyperadrenergic POTS, MCAS, SIBO, erythromeglia ). It all started post influenza A H3N2 She went from a competitive dancer to needing to help with ADLs. She has never felt understood in the medical community for the most part and that in itself has been so hard for her and me trying to advocate. You posting * this video ans raising awareness means more to me than you know!!!!

I would like to add to this that Fatigue and Tiredness are not the correct words they are too light! the fatigue is like body shutdown and sometimes can be coma like. Crashes are like being in a vat of treacle with no air and an elephant sitting on top of that! its a living death! these words should be replaced by something more serious!

I am convinced I developed ME/CFS after the HPV Gardasil vaccine 8 years ago. I never got a proper diagnosis and the symptoms completely went away after about two years dealing with it. Well now about 4 and a half years later after getting COVID-19. All the symptoms of ME/CFS have re-emerged. Its so bad that some everyday things like taking a shower or brushes my teeth are too much to handle. I just feel like laying back down to get relief. This has been going on for 15 months. Is it possible for it to go away again, or is it possible I don't improve and this continues for years?

Doctor, I had covid last year and it was really bad . After I recovered (after 2 weeks) I started feeling unwell again, not having strength, shortness of breath even just walking a short distance and just being very tired, very similar to what you mentioned in the video. I remember going then to a cardiologist and he said I had myocarditis and he gave me L Carnitine and some pill mconcor. Not sure if these two helped but slowly i had started feeling better. I remember later going to a second cardiologist (and GP) and they told me that I should stop taking these because my heart is healthy and it doesnt even show that I had myocarditis.... I started to wonder did I EVEN HAD IT in the first place, or just the doctor wanted to prescribe to me these so he can keep seeing him?
