You know, i find it kinda funny what they did to pretenders in Japan. in US pretenders used synthetic shells which they could control remotely. However, in Japan transformers covert directly into that lifeform, while some transformers like Dinoforce (verson of Monster pretenders) have american pretender model though not the name

I really wish Takara would reissue the G1 Overlord.

If Overlord were to be re-issued now, it would be by Hasbro, not Takara. TF reissues didn't get much attention in Japan, and even Omega Supreme and Sky Lynx, which were miraculously reissued, stayed in stock in stores forever. Today, the popularity of TF has waned even more than it did then, and the flaws in the reissued God fire Convoy have worsened its reputation, making it unlikely that it will ever be reissued in Japan.

No, the us ads is much better. Except zone and victory, they are great and love them. As I was saying, the reason to told you, the usa had better characters and more characters to enjoy you all fools. I hate masterforce and more importantly. I love usa ads better than the stupid masterforce and g1 series japanese version. The usa had more better stream line of story and better characters improvements. The use should have more love to impress and great comic strip reveal.

@@van-garrettjohnson6012 I would hardly they say they had more characters to enjoy when most of them never made it to a tv show. Japan kept it going for quite a while and actually characterised them all pretty well. And the Japanese version of headmasters, targetmasters, and godmasters makes a lot more sense. Like what benefit would you get from having a head or engine that's a fleshy alien? In Japan that was the actual transformers and the vehicle was just a mech suit, which is a lot more believeable. Also your comment is peak copy pasta material

Yeah. For me japan exclusive toys and series (except headmasters) were better than the G1 USA cartoon. Even the toy commercials were awesome, the USA ones were cringey (at least for me).
