I have this mold- i 1/2 fill the shapes run a stick around to spead resin and remove bubbles, then slightly overfill them, when demolding you can run a stanley knife over them to smooth them out.

Hey Diane just had to tell u that I stole ur idea to put the paw on the end of the tweezers ur a genius. I bought the 5 color package of paws but they wouldn't work to cap the tweezers because they are too thin but I love your idea so much. Have an awesome day and bless u

That is awesome! Glad to help lol. That's exactly what happened with me too and didn't want to not use them so thought what the heck, why not put it on the other end. I have 1 on the tweezers I use for diamond painting too and it's great for using to press down on diamonds if they moved. xx

You used two different UV resin formulas in the same mold. I believe that since you started with the soft resin for the pieces, you need to top them with the same.

She didn’t use two up resins though. Diane used epoxy resin to fill the mold then used a uv resin. Brand should not do that after it’s been cured.

Thanks for watching and for your comment. Unfortunately that's not the reason as the resin used to make the blocks was epoxy resin, not UV resin. Was a good idea so thanks for trying to help work it out. x
