So I've commented on this before, but since you've reuploaded this track it's been a staple in daily playlist. I wanna just tell you, the emotional ride of this song is incredible. I relate so hard- From The words carved in stone mean almost nothing now. I've been there so many times. To the Lamenting your existence all up until you're about to give up, then "Heeeeey just look how far we came" I'm a 38 year old man and that part- it breaks me to tears on hard days. That's powerful stuff. This to me - is one of the best song ever written. Hey I don't know if you've ever thought about it, but my fave song is All That I Am- and so rarely covered, if you get the itch you'd probably nail it.

Hey, I just want to say thank you. I wish I could explain exactly how much I appreciate everything you said in your comment. I wrote this song when I was in a very dark, depressive state of mind, and it’s so hard to escape that. I just want to say I’m proud of you for pulling yourself out of that place, multiple times. I have written a lot of songs that came from that place, but I think this one is the most accurate in describing what I feel in words. When I wrote this song, I still wasn’t sure if other people would relate or understand what I was trying to convey. I’m really sorry for your pain. I know there’s not a whole lot that one can say to make it feel better. But if anything, I find it beautiful that we can relate to each other in such a way, and sympathize with each other’s pain. I find some type of solace in knowing that I’m not alone, and neither are you. I’m really glad that you’re still pushing on. It’s a lot harder than most people would think, and a lot of the time, this type of pain goes unseen. Thanks for not giving up! And thank you so much for everything you said. Take good care of yourself, you deserve it, you deserve love, and you are valuable. I’m proud of you!
