06. Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault - Realistic Difficulty Walkthrough - Guadalcanal: Henderson

Welcome to my HD guide for this World War II game in Realistic difficulty. In these videos I complete all hidden objectives and hero moments. They also provide you with a full storyline with all cinematics.
In Realistic difficulty enemies are smarter and more accurate when shooting. You will also get into dying status after only one rifle shot, so you need to learn how to cover properly and interact with your team more. Also for the most part of the game your paramedic has only one med pack, so be careful. A way to conserve ammo is to pick up enemy weapons when you're going to be shooting from a spot for a period of time, then when you have to move, retrieve your own weapon. I use this tactic because the American weapons like the M1 Garand, Thompson SMG, are stronger and better than the enemy weapons. And make sure you don't miss any ammo pickups.
I will also upload in a different playlist all the supplemental videos that come with the game, about the WWII and the making of this game. Make sure to watch in HD and I hope you enjoy my walkthrough.
NOTE: In the Guadalcanal mission, even if you complete all the hidden objectives and hero moments, in the medals section you'll get only 2 of 5 medals.

I hear you. I've been making a playlist called WW2 in the style of every WW2 game I could find, and depending on what video I add, I gotta find a CoD video where the player doesn't die. And right now, the only problem I'm facing is Medal of Honor: Rising Sun. Two KZbin channels kept shooting their own comrades and hit them with their pistol and/or rifle. Now I wanna see a playthrough of MoH: Rising Sun on this channel.

This usually happens with the recorder, they depend on the sound quality with headphones. Speakers have a little empty space in them making the music at the beginning sounds like its played in an empty room.

I can confirm that the 1.2 patch solve the Guadalcanal medals bug. At least on the boxed version of the game which I still own.

It's a glitch that prevents you from getting them all. The same thing happened to me. So you can't get them all, no matter what. Actually I stated this in the video description.

Now I want to see MoH Rising Sun on this channel. I tried watching it and all I saw was the player shooting at their own comrades, hitting them with their pistol and/or rifle, and attacking the interrogators immediately after reaching a specific point in mission 5 (Pistol Pete Showdown).

I use speakers. But I recorded with fraps and, as far as I know, it doesn't make any difference whether I use either one. And I don't record my mic.

Are you playing with 1.2 patch? I read somewhere that it should fix the Guadalcanal medals bug letting you to obtain the other three... Legion of Merit, Faciat Georgius and Silver Star

Yeah. Although I found on some gaming forum that someone said that all the medals cannot be shown until a patch comes out. And that was like 6 years ago or smth. (not sure when did the game come out). So, maybe there is a patch somewhere online...

sad for EA for letting go its first developers of medal of honors and not giving the developers a chance. that's why ACTVISION believe in their talents and made CALL OF DUTY 1 which changes the world of WW2 FPS games

This guy changes weapon magazines way too many times. Just because you fire a few rounds of ammo does not mean that you change your magazine. I say that you should fire until you have a few rounds of ammo left in your magazine before you change it.

Notice how theses old games didn't have so much useless crap on the screen ? You don't have a plane icon on planes to tell you it's a plane, you don't see enemy through walls, you can't spot them. They had a sense of immersion that is completely lost today. Look at BF1 for exemple. This game is an icon shooter. There is ugly icons all over your screen for anything that you see. Tripple A games are designed for idiots today and it's a shame.

why are you always falling behind player?....look, when you play these MOH and COD , you gotta play BALLS OUT!!....stay with your squad...and advance WITH THEM....a thompson is for short and medium range....you firing too far....need to engage far away targets with your rifle, you waste ammo

this dude whose playing is absolutely terrible. there is a time to keep to cover and a time to be aggressive and move in hard and fast. which is what this guy should have done. he's using every morsel of ground as cover to move in 2 steps at a time. its painfully slow to watch.
