Caught this tour at multiple stops. I don’t think it will ever be topped.

I saw him a few nights later in Birmingham. Pretty sure he had the same shirt on.

Amazing that this song was caught live! You don’t see it much 😢 hope to have the chance to have this experience 👁

Yeaaaah but c'mon you gotta admit, it's lost all it's creepy, gloomy-like aura when he's performing it live. Even they way they ended it was a bit weak. Huge fan of all his work btw! Just my opinion. Anyways, I feel Dax's records are where he truly shines. Like what he manages to do in the studio is nothing short of magic but then when I see him live (And I have two times to be exact here in New Orleans) very few of his songs seem to hold up. But yeah it's definitely rare the fact this one was caught live.

@@ryanhale1654 I do agree with you there. Album version is definitely more haunting and ghostly. I feel like when I hear the album version I can envision New Orleans itself. Live version is missing that same ambience. I enjoy the fact that he’s got such a range of different material over the years between albums and live stuff. It doesn’t leave much room for things to get stale which I really dig.

@@ryanhale1654 This video doesn't do him justice. Seeing him live at least ten times over the years at One Eyed Jacks in NOLA it is every bit as good as the album.

One of my favourite songs from one of my favourite albums. He‘s voice is better then ever - yet this live version pretty much stinks imo..
