My daughter would have loved this one. She met him in New Orleans when she was 15. She was too young to get in to watch him play so he came out and talked to her and autographed a dollar for her. 5 years later on Oct. 26 she was killed in a car wreck. Will be 19 years the 26th of this month. I still listen to his music even if only for her.

Dax isn't just going to agree to a reunion, 28 years after Audie's death, only to play a 30 minute show at some festival. Venues and festivals often contractually dictate that a performing artist cannot disclose other dates until a certain amount of time has passed. An Acid Bath reunion is huge, there IS a tour involving both festivals and club shows in the works, I'm sure. Jamming, relearning songs, working out the new band dynamics, etc. these are all investments. And Acid Bath just isn't a big enough draw for a festival that features Metallica that they'll so many expenses that that one show is worth reuniting for. And they'll do a slew of warm-up shows in New Orleans and Houma. Right now, Sick New World is just what's announced.
