@Marty0933 @ Its so hard to remove that cable/hose thats connects in the back of intake manifolds… i broke one side of the clip.. I don’t know how to get it out.. i tried to put the two flat screw head on both ears but its not coming out still..any suggestions?
@Marty099333 жыл бұрын
Vince & Nancy’s channel are you talking about the one that connects to the throttle body ? If so you can get away by leaving it on just roll the manifold to a side it won’t give you as much room but you should be able to access the starter . You can spray WD-40 on it and just play with it try two pick instead of screw drivers they are smaller to open the clips . That’s what I hate about BMW cheap plastic that gets brittle with the heat of the engine

Great video, do you think a bad alternator is the reason my car wont crank or start? There is also a transmission error on the dash
@Marty099333 жыл бұрын
Hi Retro Boss it’s hard to tell without being there and looking at the car but if the battery has some charge on it it should try to crank over but if the car is just clicking it’s probably a bad starter or battery.? Try boosting the car and tapping on the starter. Thank you and thanks for watching I appreciate you

You should also check your motor ground cable, this could stop your car from running

Hi Vince & Nancy’s Channel hey brother sorry was very busy. Get a 1/4 flex head ratchet or a flex head wrench I believe it’s a 10 mm 6 point wrench or even a 12 point will work try that

@Marty099333 жыл бұрын
@@Vinceshoxs24 Sorry to hear that brother the only thing I can suggest now is fine a reliable mechanic that can take that bolt out you may have to pay him some money but like you said you’re already screwed then you can finish the job yourself and still save you some money. Just compare how much it’ll cost you to tow it over there and tow it back and you do it yourself unless that mechanic can give you a good price for him to fix it ??

If you listen to his method of removing the difficult bolt you will struggle like I did. Then i realized you could fit a 3/8 ratchet behind the rear intake. DO NOT remove that bolt like he did. You wont be able to if its never been replaced before.
