my 84 year old grandmother is in hospital with broken pelvis. I felt so bad that she lays on hospital bed with nothing to do. Her eyesight is too bad for tv or reading. I started playing these and she remembered many of them and is happy I've been playing them for her.

One of the best episodes of Mystery Theatre after "Black Widow" -- siimply AWESOME!! It's amazing how these radio dramas ease me into sleep...simply amazing. I wasn't born when these were originally broadcast, but I sure am glad that these were posted here! I would've completely missed out on some of the best radio drama EVER!

Hyman Brown - who gave us another "Creaking" door called "The Inner Sanctum" definitely set the standard for suspenseful and scary radio dramas. I love it.

I'm a huge fan of old radio shows, but, for those of you born after the 1970s, I just want to clue you in that the CBS Radio Mystery Theater was, in my opinion, not very good. They pushed themselves to crank out a new one-hour show (too long) every day (too often), and they were just stretched too thinly to produce much significant or even memorable. Look online for Suspense, Lights Out, Quiet Please, or even Jack Benny or Amos and Andy if you want quality. You might even try Himan Brown's earlier series, Inner Sanctum (which this show was patterned after).

WHEN YOU LOOK FOR TH3M ; YOU CAN STILL FIND THEM. --- UNDER THE CORRECT HEADING --- I. REMEMBER THEM ON THE RADIO IN NEW YORK : WŴOR..... --- DIFFERENT STATIONS .... In different. States --- DIFFERENT. RADIO STATIONS. ! They were great every week growing up. There are 2 stories with a coffin. Under the name CBS Mystery Theater 1 -- Storage, which is this one --- Cold. Storage. Then they other. : 1 -- Curse of the mommy No that name may be a little bit different ? But it is most definitely. The CBS. Mystery. Theater From the 19 60s, 1970s. Then early 1980s when it finally stopped...!!!
