Watched this video a thousands of times while waiting for my r400... I have the same setup tomei equal length headers and catless dp. It's perfect, coming from the tomei it's definitely quieter, still loud but doesn't lose its tone through the rpm. Not obnoxious like the tomei but still aggressive

Great video! I have an R400 myself and was looking into getting an elh but don't wanna lose the rumble yet this setup still has it. Was planning on the Killer B one but thought it's too expensive. I might go for Tomei and pair with a catted dp instead!

Wow, This sounds great!! I’ve got the tomei now and it’s a bit too loud for my taste! How does the tomei compare to the r400? Is the r400 good for daily ? My tomei yells with catless and ELH. Very raspy as well

I had the Tomei titanium before and the R400 and the Tomei is about twice as loud it seems. The R400 is definitely more tame. I daily drive my STi with the R400 and don't mind it at all, but that's me. If you had the Tomei for a while then this R400 will be much more quiet for sure.

What's the entire setup? Sounds like an external waste gate flutter, or some sort of blow off valve? What brand is that?

It was my rear diff. Fixed that real quick with poly bushings after I saw this video lol

Love the exhaust. There is drone but I don't seem to mind. I went on a few road trips with it and I didn't really notice it after a bit of driving. If you had a Tomei before, then you'll know what true drone is lol

I just installed it lots of drone. Really loud. I’m running catted grimmspeed DP. Does it get quieter over time? Will it change the loudness once I get an ELH? Thanks!

@@derrickgarcia303 Like I said, I've had the exhaust for a long time and I am used to whatever drone mine makes so I don't really care too much. It's possible that having a catted downpipe could interfere with the sound waves and it's reverberating in your cabin. Or the drone is actually too much for you lol. And yeah, the one thing I've noticed when I went ELH is that my car's cold starts became much louder. Just a warning.

There is some drone, but I don't think it's bad. I could go on a road trip no problem. Then again I haven't driven a "quiet" car in 5 years so I don't know what's too much drone or not lol
