The dirty cheats were the drunken Villa supporters in 1982 which caused a lot of troubles and damage that day inside and outside the stadium !! Don't even get me started about what bigger cheats did 3 years later (1985) in Brussels during the final of the European Cup I... . Regarding the macth in 1984 against Nottingham Forest: Anderlecht have never been convicted or excluded of European Cups participation. Unfortunately for them the referee (Muro) passed away in 1987 in a car accident so one shouldn’t speak ill of the dead, so they say. The penalty loss against the Spurs was a big disillusion but they scored more penalties so they deserve to win the Cup.
