Hi Ian can you explain why we need to have cones by a sign we don't have them on normal road signs 😊

Safety at street works and road works. I was taught to follow the rules of the little red book, Chapter 8 and chapter 12. These two signs alone don't comply with the code, but they had no signs at all, so I offered a couple of our SLOW ones just to help.

Cones should always be placed next to a temporary sign as such signs are as a warning ie possible hazard. Think for example about signs at a temporary road works or temporary traffic lights that have a sign with a cone. It's called highway legislation
