One thing I may suggest. I do off-roading and those damn rca cables will come loose. Use some 1/2 “ shrink tube and shrink it around them. Make it long enough it goes down to both sides of the wire that way it will shrink down and suck them in. I use color coded shrink and then you can write on them too. Looks good! Wish they had them in stock, but I couldn’t use it really I have a set of aux switches to control off-road lights and winch power

Man that looks good! Mine should be here in a couple weeks. I noticed in one of your videos that you have a 2011 and you wanted it to look updated and newer and thats why added 12" touchscreen. Well I also have a 2011 and I wanted it to look newer as well, I think you might be interested in this mod i did. I ordered and grill, bumper, and fog lights from a 2018 off ebay. With a little ingenuity and few small modifications it bolted right up! Now my 2011 looks like a 2018 and wasn't very expensive, right around $800.00. A small price to pay to have a 10 year old truck that has the looks of newer model. I'd post a picture but no need, it looks identical to a 2018!

Why did you have to run a different GPS antenna? Was the factory antenna not compatible. Would prefer a cleaner look than having that in top right of windshield. Also; do you have other speakers than what are supplied with this model truck. I have the same truck. My radio intermittently won’t play and is flaky with my phone currently with the factory infotainment system. Saw your video and the fact that you have my exact truck, gives me a degree of confidence to tackle this myself. Please provide the link to this unit. Great job 👍👌😊

Factory speakers work through the display without hooking up the audio out RCA’s correct. Those would just be used for sub or RSO right.

Luckily they are all on the same connector so it's probably an issue there. I just checked mine and if I remember correctly its just a single blue wire from the unit that has a connection at the end that fits those controls. Make sure thats plugged in firmly. I think that wire just supplied switched power so you cant turn the controls on unless the truck is in the on position.

No, I still have the parking sense noise. Pretty sure it's a setting in the options menu to have it on. I will double check. My rear view camera is ok but it lost some quality due to being shown on a bigger screen. I will get back with you in how my settings are configured.

In the settings menu for User Settings you should have a option called Parking Sound. Make sure that is On. My camera is set to PAL but Auto looks exactly the same.

It's plug and play after you configure the dash cluster. Nothing needs wiring unless you are adding additional cameras.
