I would like to, but also like when they are on with the running lights. My XJ Jeep Cherokee has a side marker light [low intensity] that is on with the running lights, and flashes when the turn signal is on, which would do both, but the F150 doesn’t have that, it would be one or the other.

@Jeremy Hess you can't push 24 volts in any wire on a vehicle designed for 12 volt output. Two 12 volts does not compute to 24 volts... it doesn't work like that, it's still 12 volts. Also, LED's don't even take 12 volts, LED's are all lower voltage, around 5 volts max. LED's have special circuts that reduce 12 volts down to 5 volts or less... most are 3 volts or less.

You could certainly do that with a diode spliced into the positive wire and another spliced into a wire from the turn signals. The purpose of the diodes would be to keep the voltage from backfeeding from the turn signals into the parking lights (making them flash) and vice-versa.

Thanks! My truck is an FX4, has no chrome. Only the "newer" ones have a color choice, when I got mine you had to pick one color when purchasing. Yellow was the obvious choice for me, lol.

They are pretty cool looking. You can even change the colors with them now. But $300 is a tad more than I want for a lighted logo. Nice video though. Tell the haters to go blow their brothers (probably doing it already). Recon has some cool lighting options and really good quality but they are expensive.

A little heat from a hair dryer does wonders in helping get the sticky pad off. But never use a heat gun! They can get the paint finish to hot and cause damage.

I just installed an Led light bar on my 06 F-150, the wiring harness comes with an extra red and black. I wonder if this could be wired to my switch so they come on with my light bar. I don't really use my parking lights.

They look extra bright on camera. Brightness is just right IMO. I got them non ebay, search Brody Dog Auto Parts on ebay, best price. The newest ones may have a controller to change the color.

those look good hubjeep. and good job on the thourough intstall. bought em for my 16 f150. they say not made for it but im sure as lightweight as they are, i can cut off the plastic pegs on back if holes dont line up and double sided automotuve tape should keep them up there easily. what you think? great job again..

Thanks Nick. The pegs are only for alignment, the tape is what holds it on, and the tape on the back of these is very strong. Should be no problem as long as you have a hole for the power wire out the back.
