Luka is just making small talk but despite his poker face, the carby thing hurt him. Big part of the reason he was spiraling in season 9. Luka is not the type to have his feelings exposed the way Carter does, Luka keeps it all inside. He’s a lot more reserved. It’s all good though, Luka gets Abby back anyways. Carby was failing here anyways, Carter realized Abby wasn’t his one when Maggie told him he had to love her despite the fact if she never changed and when she wouldn’t live up to his expectations. carter expected Abby to change but they were never on same wave length. Abby even said they don’t talk and anytime he does she had no idea what Carter was thinking. Luka loved Abby flaws and all. I was grateful Carter left to give Luby a second chance ❤
