I am so amazed by the fact that some people have no clue on how to maintain a vehicle..
@bigdaddymak14395 ай бұрын
TBO it's not all their fault. Nobody is teaching people how to maintain their vehicle like just checking their oil! The manufacturer is selling them a load of crap about how cheap the cost of ownership is. They don't care because the public buys new cars when the repairs get expensive. But yes people are lazy also. This customer got almost 300k I think they took pretty good care of it.

But 270k miles not bad at all lol.

Just disable this little maintenance light and ... ahh.... next week.... going to get that oil changed next week.

I installed an S-VCM to disable VCM on my 2010 VCM J35A7 engine after the first cylinder three misfire. No problems for the last 20 months. I occasionally disconnect the S-VCM to excersize the VCM system and it comes back without problem. When I pull the spark plugs they are all clean. No carbon accumulation on the VCM cyclinder plugs, as is the case when VCM is active.

@KZbin WHY?!?!?! 😭 Leave the political nonsense off KZbin plz 😭👌

Agree with Rocksocks…. Although, it may be too late at this point with extensive VCM damage and the aftermath of the lack of oil. A VCM muzzler installed earlier would have prevented most of these issues.

I've had an S-VCM installed on my 2020 J35A7 engine for 20 months. It's running perfectly.

@@jptrainor Just put one on my 2023 J35 (Odyssey). I don't care what people say about improvements in VCM. Zero tolerance for J35 abuse in this household...LOL.

@@Watchman999 my vcm cylinder plugs now come out clean and oil consumption has reduced and is very reasonable. When I disconnect the s-vcm, which I do periodically to exercise the system, the vcm comes back to life without issue. It's a win win win win.
@Watchman99912 сағат бұрын
@@jptrainor nice. I'm not a fan of exercising the VCM. It is permanently exiled after the hell I went through with a 2011 Odyssey.

@@Watchman999 I do it to keep it working in case I ever want to sell it. Usually if I have some reason to have to bleed the coolant then I disconnect it, bleed it, and then leave it disconnected for a day or two. A scanner won't report the temp accurately if it's connected, so it's easier to monitor the coolant bleed procedure if it's disconnected.

Now I'm watching Kamala commercials to the end for you. I hope you appreciate what we do for the channel...

I wouldn’t do a motor on a rusty 09’ pilot. I’d keep it running the best it can and wait for the wheels to fall off. Just fix the misfire, brakes and check oil level frequently and add more when necessary.

As a Minnesotan with a Honda, this one hurts 😂
