090923 CONROE FATAL AND WEATHER

At 12:45am Conroe Fire was dispatched to a major accident on North Loop 336 near Airport Road. A vehicle that had been traveling east on Loop 336 left the roadway and slammed into the driveway/culvert at the John Deere dealership. The vehicle then traveled over 100 yards before coming to rest and bursting into flames. The driver was ejected and pronounced deceased on the scene. Conroe Police are investigating the crash.

Just imagine it could be anyone of us, getting that late night to early morning call or knock on our door informing us, of the death of a loved one. I pray God wraps his arms around this family and holds them tight! I know our minds go straight to drinking but this person could have just gotten off work or had a diabetic seizure! The point is, we just don’t know.

For all comments: Officer confirmed earlier to me that it was a double fatal, driver was doa and passenger transported. Both ejected. Car was a Camaro. Brother of driver has already reached out to us at Speedys about car. They weren't able to identify driver till early yesterday morning and then notified next of kin.

No where in the description does it say the driver was impaired. Give him the benefit of the doubt until the facts come out. I lost my dad the same way when he was coming home at night from his third job. He worked hard so my sister could go to college.
