Well you see I was looking for this file for about 3 days all day. It's supposed to be Module 1. Every time I started Module 2.o the text made a reference about the PTTA file which was supposed to teach abut the use of the packet Tracer and about how to use it and when. However could never fine that Module 1 and there was no link to it.

Thank you so much, it's 2023 now but this video really saved me. I was really worried about not being able to complete because I didn't know if the first step I did was right or not, your guide helped me so much. Like this was due by tomorrow too so thank you😭. As I went through your guide, I noticed it wasn't really that difficult and I knew how to navigate slowly as it went on. Basically there's just a lot of components and tabs that seem scary but as long as we check and read the directions and learn shortcut keys and what each tool or thing does, we should be good!

Case sensitive had me stuck. the router was configured bit the program did not allow me to move forward until it was configured being case sensitive. wow. Thanks for the help. cheers

My version (8.2.0) seems different as my terminal doesn't preview same text as in the tutorial, and there is no option to answer "no" in the terminal and reach the "Router Command Prompt". Anybody having the same issue ?

For those who are wondering the same thing, I found that while using the 8.2.0 version of Packet Tracer, weirdly enough the same problem shows for the console on the laptop. To circumvent this problem on your own, you can also go to the "Backup_Router" itself once it's connected and on the rack. Click on it until you see its properties and go to the "CLI" section; this also acts as a console that you can interact with, without the need for the laptop. Just input "no" and then press enter to continue through the tutorial from there. If all else fails, you can try turning it off and on again and hope for the best... Yea, I didn't say that I was an IT hardware expert, so take it or leave it.

Christian, Please I need help in PTTA as my screen is not having the shelf to locate and installed a back up router. Can anyone help. " Install Backup_Router in the Rack and turn the power on. Locate the Backup_Router on the 4th Shelf. Select and drag the Backup_Router from the Shelf to an empty space on the Rack. Connect Laptop_1 to the Backup_Router with a USB cable. My packet tracer is displaying "1.0.7 Packet tracer" Please assist i have got stock here

I can't understand Christian's accent: The text is so small I can't read it: I thought that this course was to familiarize us with the packet tracer icon's devices etc, Then show us what and why all the Icons are there for. I've never used this tool before so it is overwhelming when Christian says something ounce with out explaining everything about it. I'm the kind of guy that asks why a lot of time before excepting something that is stated without context. I'm sorry if I don't get this at this pace but I don't want to waste my time not getting the message because that is not tutoring.
