I've been running 8310rx the last month and it is awesome! The ride is unbelievable, I can't remember a ILS riding that smooth.

This tractor is not only a good looking tractor but that right along in the cab what a wonderfully quiet piece of equipment

Thanks for the re-upload, I was wondering why this video somehow disappeared after it was originally uploaded
@bigtractorpower2 жыл бұрын
For some reason the original version had 4 minutes of the cab ride along that did not upload so there was a blank area before the video started playing again. It seemed best to pull the original and post a repaired version. Thank you for watching.

I remember my dad bought a three point field cultivator for the 4020. I remember driving it up to the edge of a field lake. With duals it seemed invincible to getting mired in mud. It just seemed to float like a butterfly and sting like a bee.

I love the 8RX, such a unique looking tractor. I'm running this exact tractor with the tanks paired with a JD 1775 NT in Farming Sim 22 right now, the closest I will probably ever get to one of these horses. 🤣

His concentration on the planting seems like 100% focus even with all that modern technology…not many farmers left that ran the 4 row corn planters behind their choice of tractors…hope some day they do a video we’re they bring out and old farmer from a care facility and let him ride along
@mathiaskral64102 жыл бұрын
Love all your videos!! This one is top notch as always. However, one thing I have noticed is most operators don’t really talk with any real enthusiasm. It would be nice to see an operator excited and forthcoming with their experience.

I always loved 3pt hitch planters. Here in Eastern North Carolina most farmers run 3pt hitch striptill combo planters. Usually 8 to 12 row 30, 36,38 inch row spacing. We plant alot of peanuts on those row spacing
@bigtractorpower2 жыл бұрын
It is definitely a peanut/cotton country set up. It seems to work very well for this controlled traffic farm.

Remembering the days of long long ago,, dad having to work around the little lakes a wet season brings..and then later planting them with beans when the water receded
@bigtractorpower2 жыл бұрын
This area has lots of low spots that hold water through out the year. It has to be an extra dry summer to dry them completely out. It has been an extra wet spring so they are brimming With water.

neat no-til plan, looks like strip planted oats or rounded up rye
@bigtractorpower2 жыл бұрын
The farm runs everything on a 40ft controlled traffic pass. They seed 30 inch strips of rye in the fall. In erodible spots in the field they seed a solid area of oats to hold the soil.

I'm curious as to if the tanks add any extra wear & tear on the rear tracks or road wheels?
@bigtractorpower2 жыл бұрын
Good question. They are brand new for availability this spring. I expect Deere throughly tested them before release. Time will tell how well the tracks hold up. Typically tracks last 3,000 hours.

It is the list price. There are discounts and other other costs for gps and other tech.

Two questions for you or the farmer- is the new tanks system only on the RX machines or can it be had with the R and/or RT machines as well, and 2- are the two angled steel pieces at each end on top of the planter beam for protection while planting along field edges? Also, did I hear you say to the famer that the RX's are smoother riding than the RT's? I thought you once told me that the RT's still rode the smoothest?
@egomania27922 жыл бұрын
Afaik these tanks are only on the 8RX. They are shaped specifically for the tracks.
@bigtractorpower2 жыл бұрын
At this time it is only an option for the 8RX. In the video he mentions changes to the axles that were required for the tanks. The tracks help carry the added weight. Maybe in the feature they will look at fender tanks for 8R models.
@ScottPykare2 жыл бұрын
Those tanks do hinder being able to see the planter but helps with compaction. I guess it's a give and take. The 8RX has quite a short turning radius which is a big advantage.
