GM, I think the pearl white will look great on the RX78-2. I think two bottles will work fine if you start with a white primer. Pearlescent white tends to be a little transparent so you want a good white primer under it to get the coverage and effect.

I've watched a few of your unboxing/review videos now. And although your enthusiasm for these kits is great I would really like to see more videos where you build and/or paint these model kits. I'm a tabletop wargamer, painter and hobbyist. So the biggest appeal for me is to see how other hobbyist approach their toys. And maybe learn a few new techniques along the way.

I just bought and built the RX-0 Titanium finish. Nice...but nubs are really apparent. Gloss white paint marker recommended. The Dom has no screws. Easy build.

Airbrushing Tamiya X-32 (from the 23 ml jar) produces an awesome titanium coat, if you need to add some airbrushing to the deal. It airbrushed on matte, but it hand brushes on glossy. Not sure how that works. It will need a clear coat to make it gloss. I had to strain mine. First attempt was clumpy even with lots of stirring.
