1,000 HP COMPLETE CHEVELLE BUILD IN MINUTES!

Күн бұрын

Every step of our 2,000-hour frame-off 1,000 horsepower ProCharged stroker small block A-body Chevy Chevelle build in 11 minutes. Watch as the Detroit Muscle guys restore this '72 Chevelle from the dazzling metallic baby blue paint job to the brand new interior.
Marc and Tommy plug a monster bowtie powerplant into the car and get the Supercharger Intercooler plumbed for the 1000 horsepower small block. The barn find project needs a fuel system to support the 1000 horsepower engine, as well as an exhaust system to let it exhale and make that big power.
Check out the PowerNation store for full build DVDs, shirts, hats, and more: pntv.us/lnk_f8a...

I would love to see you guys do a restore/upgrade on a 65 Chevelle. That is my favorite body style. A smaller car, but they had some real muscle. Some mechanics say they were really sad suspension wise though. I always wished I had one. That Era was great! I had a 67 Mustang Fastback 2+2 and I loved those Chevelles and 61 - 67 Vettes.

To each his own, I don't even like stock buckets after having good racing seats. I have a 68 mustang that will have stock seats, but I will probably play around with the foam density in different areas to maximize lateral grip and comfort without drastically changing the shape of the seat or cover.

I love chevelles but the amount of work done to it.. It should be seen from the middle of a crowd. But just my opinion. I had one that colir with white interior. It was before I started my bodywork and paint business. I would have changed it back then

I have done 4 headliners, and they suck really bad....but the last one I did turned out so professional I even impressed myself....it was in my sons 1968 Cutlass. THe key for me was to do it in the summer, on really hot days, stretch it into place, let it sit for a week or whatever, then stretch it more, then glue it...I used alligator clips to hold it in place. It sucks to do, but when your done, you feel pretty good about it.

I can't afford to fix it up right now, but it is in a sheltered garage to keep it preserved. After I pay off two small loans, I will start buying things for it and working on it...I do have my home and property paid off so at least thats a good thing.

Nice build. I have a 72 Lemans I would like to do that to. My differences would be the engine bay all in body color. The frame and suspension would be painted in something like gun metal gray or something different than black, just to be different. Ditch the bench seat and run some bolstered buckets. You made it turn and stop, only to have the driver, and passenger, sliding off the seat. I also want white interior, but everything that is supposed to be black I would do in blue. I think that would be subtle but different enough to notice. I liked the not LSing it. I want to put a 4.25 inch stroke crank in my Pontiac 400 to make it a 461. Gotta keep a Tin Indian in a Poncho. LOL
