Thanks for the feedback, Jeff....I just picked up the Sig Fuse with that optic...I'm not the best shot but I am improving...I like all aspects of the sight, and in the last month of owning...I put at least 1800 rounds thru my weapon...And its standing up great....I've been dry firing with it regularly for the last month...and getting ready to rotate it in to my full time EDC.... Thanks for your service, your content...stay strong and keep kicking ASS.... G

The holosun eps carry is the same way in regards to its screws.

It’s hard to admit one’s own mistakes. I am glad the issue was resolved. The use of the proper tool and the use of loctite 243 on the screw is imperative. The reason for the use of 243 is because it doesn’t need a primer and resists oils and solvents. The very things we use on those areas. I think lower repetitions to standard will beat higher round counts. My two cents.

The error was in not finding a better solution. Instead I just tried to use a bigger hammer😂

Locktite 246 is more suitable for firearms. It has a much higher temperature rating. All of locktites aerobics are highly oil, grease, etc resistant polymers. 243 is more multi purpose vs being the correct one for firearms.

@@ryanguldbrandsen7672 Good information for sure, but one thing to consider is most RDS now come with "blue" thread locker applied to the installation screws. We've seen this for the Sig and Holosun product line.

@@TridentConcepts Yeah, Vortex RDS's come with it as well. I still threw some 246 on the screws for good measure! 😂

Did you torque it to 24 inch pounds? Just wondering because that seems like a lot of toque for an optic when the ones I’ve seen are no more than 15

Correct, as stated in the owner's manual as well as speaking with the techs.

It’s absolute crap, mine stopped working after 2 months. I emailed Sig with no response.

Ugh, that sucks. I would encourage you to follow up with them. Their new Infinite guarantee should cover the unit. Good luck and keep me posted.
