About the twisted bow comment. I remember in 2007/8, I made a post on the actual RS forums about an additional examine option to any item. It would then show a list of people who have owned that item all the way to who got the drop. It actually got some decent support, I was surprised lol.

I'm no mathematician, but you said 1 hour of amethyst would only "save" you 40 minutes, thus losing 20 overall. But then you said it took you 30 minutes to get the rune arrows. So wouldn't you gain 10 minutes per hour of amethyst? Idk if this adds up or how you calculated the time mining x fletching.

In your calculations for amethyst arrows did you take into account that you are spending x minutes getting rune arrows? So i think you should subtract x from the core amethyst grind? Maybe it's actually worth it?❤

also 1 thing u overlook in ur rune arrows time vs amethyst time save math... doing more dps = less time at the boss/ less time at boss= less chances to wipe. less wiping = time saved/money.

Maybe try amythest, you said it shaved off about 40 mins of your raid, but takes an hour time mine, however it takes you 30 mins roughly to get your rune arrows. If my math is right that actually banks you 10 minutes because you’re only spending 30 minutes longer getting amythest but banking 40 mins in raids. Maybe I’m wrong but I just heard the numbers and thought about it with the additional factor of time you’re spending getting rune arrows

I feel like if you earned a ornament kit for a weapon or armor it should be storable in the POH. Or at least the kit so you can be able to put the weapon in the looting bag . I’m not a uim but seems harmless to be able to store a visual upgrade. If you put stuff in hespori that wasn't a big deal if you died, (like the scythe ornament kit) would it not be lost as long as you didn't loose all 3 lives in toa? So it should be safe, but just incase only risk what your willing to risk.

Hey Loki, Your calculation with the amathyst arrows needs to also take into account the time normally spend getting the rune arrows. So if you say that the rune arrows take 30min and the Amathyst arrows take 1 hour and you safe 40 min. Technically the amathyst arrows would safe 10 mins. Probably still to be disregarded, but just wanted to help you for the future! Love the vids!

I know you're a logical man so think of it this way. If you grind out some amethyst arrows don't think of it as saving you an hour from dps. Think of it as you can up invocations by however much and still have a similar time raid in turn giving you more purples and maybe saving you many hours. I say this because I see RiceCup getting b2b2b purples with 415 invocation

1 hour of Amythist mining gets you enough aarows for 40 raids. Only saves you 40 minuites. BUT your not figuring into that the time it takes you to get rune aarows as well. Your putting yourself at a net negative time saved and writing them off, not realizing your rune aarows are always a net negative as well.

30 mins gets me 5k rune arrows which is like 200 raids worth, 60 mins gets me 1k amethyst arrows which is like 40 raids worth. i'd have to do 5 hrs to get 5k amethyst arrows. not worth.

@UIM Loki Ahh in vid you said 30 min rune arrows was about 100 raids. If its 200 raids, then yes not even close. If was 100, then much closer, between the amount of arrows saved from less arrows used because 5% less fired and 5% faster kills.
