Hardly any 6.0 remote start install videos on KZbin. You should make one of those for all of us.

@@jameswow2836 I see tons of videos of 6Ls with remote starters that cycle the glow plugs as well but never any installs. I hate having to run all the way out to my truck to start it up and then just come back inside for 10 minutes. It seems like a simple job, no chip in the key but a video on how to wire one of the nice viper ones would be so helpful

Main studs in the ford v8’s I’ve dealt with tend to distort the dimensions of the crank main journal bearing clearance. I’ve noticed it tends to tighten the clearance because it’s clamping much better. Your right on about an align bore/hone needing to be performed

I literally have the exact same build. Only thing difference is I have stage 2 cam and UCF port and polished heads. You’ll love it tho night and day difference. I’m only pushing about 750 now.

Love the breakdown. Can't wait to see this built. Hoping those KDD aluminums hold the pressure. They seem to be the best so far for aftermarket heads. All in all, though you have the 1k hp limit in mind you're going to push way more than that haha.

How about a set of up pipes for factory set up? Some of us like the pipes but can't delete.

Does Kill Devil Diesel offer Inconel Exhaust Valves ? Wouldn't they be better than Stainless Steel for the Exhaust, because of the intense Heat ?

I have a question this may be stupid but when rebuilding a motor is there a certain way each piston and rod goes in like to they go in a certain pattern or can you assemble everything as it goes it and done
@LeftLaneDiesels3 жыл бұрын
Each rod and piston will be balanced to a specific hole and then the bore is finished honed to that piston. They only go in one way, due to the piston oiler. I will go into this detail further during the process

What about the trans?? Its gunna go at 700hp
@LeftLaneDiesels3 жыл бұрын
Absolutely, transmission is on the overall list. This videos purpose is to cover the basic long block build.... once that is completed, I will move to the air and fuel with supporting modifications. Then the transmission. It’s a process that will most certainly take some time, but it will happen. 🤘💪

6.0 reliable hArdly
@hotrod69193 жыл бұрын
1000hp+ rippinrowdy x reliable= need to push for more!!! reliability is for pussy's lol. My 6.0 was suprisingly extremly reliable first 150k, then it got its first tune, and thats all it took, like a addicts first hit of crack . I had a 'tune addiction' that first first 4 wheel launch @ 10 psi felt and sounded like a jet launching off aircraft carrier with chewy screamin right next to me, i was hooked and made owning a few 6.0s difficult, to leave stock even a decade later lol
