@@davidronnefalk David. I'm guessing these foam tires chunk and break off pieces if you hit pipe or crash?

@@richdudecamaro Actually they hold up way better than you'd think! So far I haven't had any problems, nor have I seen other hobbyists have the issue. Of course it can happen if you have an unfortunate landing or so.. :)

They look lightning fast ! It looks to be sliding just a bit in the corners but that might be helpful as opposed to traction rolling with regular carpet tires. How long do they last?

3-4000 laps have I heard.

It is sliding ever so slightly in the corners but that makes it very fun to drive! They last way longer than rubber for sure. I will need to drive more to know for sure hehe!

What was the lap time compared to a traditional rubber tire?

16.9 with Rubber Pins and 17.2 so far with the Foam tires!

@@davidronnefalk I'm surprised they're not faster due to being extremely light ... anytime I've run foams on touring car (carpet or asphalt) they are much faster than rubber and the car handles better.

It doesn't "sound" like you are getting good drive, purely by ear but, looks super dialed

It sure has less forward drive than the pins, but as it's a lot more free in the corners you get the lap times back there. It's just 2-3 tenths slower than pin tires on the lap! :)

Should I use thicker diff fluid with HR fome tiers on 2WD as beginner? Do you have any suggestin which cst to use on a track that looks smiliar to yours?

No sause. I have just mounted same foam on my 2wd. Some setup adjustment then its very nice to drive! Almost same grip all the life time. (i think)

those tires dont seem too good... it sounds that they slide a lot... you are a pro driver so it apears to be good but any other driver was drifitng with those tires 😅

All hobby drivers using them in Sweden now loves them. It's just the sound they make that makes you think they slide a lot, but the grip is better than you think. I mean if lap times are just 2-3 tenths slower than normal "velcro" carpet tires I think it says it all hehe :)

@@flaviorodrigues9168 Haha yes it does power slide a bit. But I see hobby drivers enjoying them too so I don't think there would be any problems after you would give it a go ;)

@@flaviorodrigues9168 I have used same foam tires on my 2wd 2 days now. I love them. Some setup adjustment yes. Little less grip then Cactus, But no tractionroll. (i hate tractionroll) Little slide. Very nice griplevel. Same grip from Lap 1-100-200 and so on. Try to do top laptimes when you have cactus tires used for 200laps :)
