Wow I would have bought that too. Such a cool scale truck with amazing detail. I prefer this to the later heritage version for sure. Will definitely be watching your mods and running videos for this. Oh and congrats on 5k subs! Cheers, Scott

Thanks Scott. Sourcing the needed parts are taking forever, but it's slowly moving in the right direction, and I can't wait to see it done as well.

Nice video, thanks! I have a inner fender printing as we speak! I've owned the Heritage Edition for several years now and it's sat on a shelf with factory protective plastic still on the body. Enough is enough, no more shelf queen, it's going the way of the trail 😀

Everyone talks about lowering the CG. But you raise the CG.

That's a great comment, and I really appreciate that you took the time to comment. But there are three things that you need to consider, weight distribution and CG, and scale trail truck. Weight distribution and CG are both important factors, and they work together. Ideal weight distribution is 60% front and 40% rear. The battery tray will allow the weight of the battery to be moved from rear to front. Although it sits slight bit higher, you have effectively changed the weight distribution without adding much weight (3rd battery tray weighs just few grams). The alternative back seat mount actually reduces weight to rear as well as CG. The 3d printed inner fender adds to CG, but also helps with front weight bias. That being said, you need to keep in mind that this rig is a being built as scale trail truck, and not as a crawler. I won't be doing crazy 60+ degree climbs...I have other rigs for those that have been carefully calculated and designed for maximum cheater rig.
