With this silver paint job and the overall design, the old lady looks like the 1950's version of the Constitution-Class, I like it very much.

Thanks for posting this. I have the set for the refit and Reliant, but I have not started them. My greatest interest was in the handling of the decals themselves. My current build of the AMT 1:2500 7 starship set has me screaming into the void about the beautiful but flimsy decals that self-destruct if you try to adust their position. I see there is no such problem with the Aztec set.

HMMMM I may do Tamiya Titanium Silver, with a matte coat. Might look between the NX-01 style silver and the tan/grey TOS model.

I have been asking why people don't do aztecaing on the TOS model. I know they so she has taken separately, should be no reason not to do it but no one takes the time. It would look more like this. Gene Roddenberry said when he saw the. That it was what he wanted the original to look like. He said this because it had all of the details needed to make it look more realistic. Hull plating, weapons clusters docking ports .😃

Do you think these decals can work on the 1/1000 T,O,S model? Yes I will need to cut them up. but that model needs decals.

Did you say that before applying the decals to apply a gloss finish to the model? So would I need to buy a can of gloss finish and spray the entire model?

Excellent job. One question though; since your ship was already painted a shiny silver, was there any need to overspray it with a gloss coat before recalling and will you need a sealant coat of some type after the decals have been applied? My concern about that is it demenishing the brightness of the silver.

I don’t think so. As long as it feels smooth, I didn’t gloss coat it, and I don’t see any silvering

I've been having a lot of trouble just accessing Round 2's website with connection errors. Other Modelers have also been experiencing issues as well. Do you have any insight from the good people at Round 2 on what might be going on?

i just got this stuff and i hope i can do it my hands shake a bit i have epilepsy
