I'm just starting out in the gumpla world and this is the first kit I've ever bought. I love it as soon as I set it up, but I think a hobby like this deserves to go further. I bought an airbrush, acrylic paints, liner pencils, etc...... everything you need for this job. I'm starting with paint tests, water decals, etc...... and I love it. The Godhand nippers are actually meant for cleaning up numbmarks, not for clipping off parts from runners. That’s a job for the entry nippers. I believe bandai sells those but I can’t remember.

I love the Aerial and I always refer to her as she. Just a great HG. TWFM is a great line and I'm looking forward to the 1/100 FM version/ as far as nippers go the Dspae 3.0 nippers are almost as goood as God Hamd and are about $20 cheaper on average. they also seem to be a little more durable. If you are always dropping your nippers, place a small mat under you in case they do hit the floor.

There is as far as I know a full mechanics Ariel in the running to be released this year I believe, sadly not a mg but still gonna be epic. I use the dspiae st-a 3.0 nippers they're cheaper than god hand by a fair amount and honestly they're the best nippers I've ever used, I've been using them for over a year and a half on over 50 kits and no chips nor signs of dulling.

Tamiya has two cutters. I have been using the more delicate of the two for several years with no problems. I build several armor and motorcycle kits each year. they are super sharp, very precise.

Dear Meli, Barbatos Rex is posting a video where he tests 12 different nippers. You might find your best new friend there. I use 2. One cheap 2$ wire cutter for the rough work and one nice singe blade smooth nipper that costed 15 or 20 bucks. Yeah they are not perfect. And yes I usually do file and polish the rest. But that is part of what I like about building Gunpla. Have a nice day. Love your videos.

For nippers, get Dspiae Nipper ST-A 3.0 Its like a God Hand Nipper by experience, the best part is that it is at half the price. Just always do the usual maintenance for it to last.

My only beef with this kit is the torso bits that close the panels tend to come apart and pop the panels off whenever you try to pose the arms. And the shoulder joints tend to wind off when you move them. My lfrith just felt more solid. But that could just be a bad roll on the mold with my particular kit and it's obviously nothing some extra TLC can't fix. Either way I love this line of HGs.

I don't know if they're more durable than the Godhands, but the USA Gundam Store 2.0 single blade nippers are pretty close performance-wise, and they cost about two thirds as much. Plus, you get free shipping on your order when you buy them.

This is a really amazing HG kit. Love how Bandai keeps improving their molds and materials. Hope you can get the Chogokin Aerial and review it. For nippers I've been using Tamiya Side Cutters and Sharp Point Side Cutters for years. I find them more durable than the Godhands and a bit cheaper too.

For nippers. I would get the USAGS nippers. They cut like the Godhand and they are really durable. I cut action bases and brittle plastic with them and they hold up well.

I would recommend the DSPIAE St-3.0, very good nipper, more durable than the GodHand and you’ll get very similar results

So I’ve literally been using $3 pair of micro flush Nippers from Harbor freight. It comes with a lifetime warranty and I’ve only had to replace them once. It’s not the most seamless cut but I always go back and sand down and detail every piece anyways. Lol

For nippers I recommend Stedi single edge for cutting Nubs while I use God Hand entry nippers for cutting out Pieces from Runners.

I didn't like the design at first either but after watching the Anime it grew on me and had me saying "it can dance!, it can fly! Ariel!"

I’ve broke 3 pairs of godhands. I’ve settled on a pair of fujiya nippers for most cuts and save my godhands for cuts I know will be prominent on special kits.
