Damn bro I’m struggling to get more then 3 stars on moc 4 with multiple 5 stars, I most definitely invested in to many characters instead of focusing on getting 1 character at at time to be amazing. I can’t help myself though seeing all the better character I pulled that I could add to my team

Yep, investment is key to progression in MoC, but having more characters built will be helpful in the long run as MoC always changes every version along with its rotational buffs. It is nice to have 9 built characters, but there will be times where I may never use them for a certain MoC because of elemental disadvantage

Facts. And I hate farming them, so most of my characters have mediocre relics, and many are at +6 to +10. The same as Genshin, in which I have spend less than 30 minutes total at farming relics in the last 8-9 months.

I’m also struggling to get more stars on my alt account despite using 5 star characters. I think it really comes down to building specific characters which will vary in usage depending on the MoC version. If I had built Dan Heng and Herta on my alt, I could probably 30-star 1.2 MoC no problem

I got a question. Are you using cards also only obtainable for free or not? Im playing on my account using only free stuff, not even pulling on standard banner. 😂 This channel is rwally helpful and shows that i can also do the MoC

For most of the light cones, they are free to use. However, there are a couple of light cones that require some gacha. My Asta for example is using Memories of the Past for more Break Effect, which is only obtainable in gacha. A good replacement for that light cone would probably be Meshing Cogs because it is possible to build Asta’s ult with just two Skills using an ER build. Other examples are the S5 versions of the Amber and Cornucopia 3 star light cones. I think you can only obtain S1 for free and must gacha for S5, but you can use the free 4 star light cones you get from playing the game and from the Light Cone Manifest Shop as alternatives. I’ll leave light cones as an exception to the challenge because most people will gacha anyways (it’s a gacha game). Even 5 star light cones can be obtainable for free if you choose to buy one. I’m glad my MoC videos are helping you clear MoC because that was the main goal/purpose for this challenge!

Apparently I had done 300+ total runs in 1.2.2 MoC after checking my Battle Chronicle on HoYoLab… Assuming 200 of them were MoC 10 runs that last 5-15 minutes per run, you could say I was starting to lose my sanity lol

Unfortunately Sushang won’t be permanently free since she is only obtainable in a limited time event. This challenge or series aims to only use permanently available characters to show how far you can progress in MoC using characters that everyone can obtain naturally despite varying game versions (ex. After Version 1.3, Sushang won’t be available to collect for free). The good news is that my Physical Trailblazer is decent enough to be a DPS (stronger if paired with Yukong) so I have the Physical element covered.

I believe that while the core event is archived, the limited rewards and claiming Sushang will not remain after the event period is over. I went to check the 1.3 livestream and noticed that both the limited rewards and claiming Sushang have a time limit underneath them, which should indicate that both will not be permanently available to obtain. If I’m wrong though, I’ll take a Sushang anyday

If you’re lacking a strong DPS, Imbibitor Lunae is a must-pull in my opinion. But do take your time building your characters! You will eventually build a lot of usable characters for MoC, and you can work towards fully clearing MoC first before the 30-star clear. Just make sure you have at least 8 well-built characters to challenge MoC

Thx for the suggestion but I think I will just pass on that. I did manage to clear moc 10 but I still couldn’t clear forgotten hall 2 stage 6 for 3 stars. Phase 1 take me way too long to clear it. I have jingyuan so probably my relic just not good enough

How much ehr is taht on march, i have 73 on mine she still misses that freeze on mara struck boss, cuz of that i keep failing the 3* on my moc 10 run 😢

I just realized I didn’t show my March 7th’s EHR in my character builds. She has 71.2% EHR in the video, so the freeze whiff can still happen. While I simply retry the stage until I get a lucky run, my March 7th’s freeze lands about 80% of the time so her EHR is good enough for me. Keep retrying MoC 10 and hopefully you’ll earn that 3* soon!

Most of the free Genshin characters have found uses as support characters, but if you were only able to use those free characters in the Spiral Abyss (especially previous versions of Spiral Abyss such as the 3.7 disaster of an abyss), it will be impossible to consistently 9 star Floor 12. Star Rail’s free characters on the other hand are surprisingly very good. They can keep up or even outperform some gacha 4 star characters depending on the situation. You will definitely get more value building Star Rail’s free characters compared to Genshin’s.

Are your relics roll good? I honestly am struggling with it cause my CV rolls are nonexistent

My relics are decent at best. I think my Herta has the best relics based on CV rolls, but that’s about it. If you take a look at my Dan Heng for example, you’ll notice that I got only a couple of Crit rolls for some of his relic pieces (his Wind Sphere is very questionable). It’s annoying that there are more useless sub stats in Star Rail’s relics than Genshin’s artifacts (ex. Effect Hit Rate, Effect RES, and sometimes Break Effect on most DPS characters). However, my Break Effect rolls on Serval and Asta have been pretty good so far. Probably my best built character would be March 7th because she has great DEF, 70% Effect Hit Rate, and lots of SPD without needing SPD boots. I’m still struggling to get higher CV, but it’s decent enough to clear MoC with 30 stars
