I've been wanting to do a cover of this track for years, and I finally got around to it! This was re-arranged from the ground up to be a jangly beat song, 1964/1965 era. I thought a 12-string guitar would nicely fill in the horn riffs of the original record, and dropping the key would allow for a bit more "rock and roll growl" on the vocal. Hope you like it!

The Beatles style is awesome! That 12 string sounds great! Edit: I’ve listened to this about 30 times already today. I can’t get over how good that 12 string sounds and the arrangement is just phenomenal. Those two root notes you hit in the solo just makes the whole song as the higher octaves ring out. That Dan Electro sounds awesome!

Thank you so much for the kind comments! This question is going to be very revealing about my technical skill level, but which root notes did I play? Was it the opening solo riff? If so, I didn't realize I was doing it...I use a complicated process known as "hmm, that sounds cool."

@@NickMartellaro Jistc certain notes that rang out during the solo and and after each verse. The whole song was well done. That Dan Electro sounded great. Your rendition is better than the original IMO. I hope you do more songs on the style of the Beatles.

In Argentina and Uruguay, the version by Len Barry closed one of the sides of the Primavera con Alta Tension LP - a Tv program based on the hits of the moment. This will be Spring of 1971. Your version is amazing. This track brings many good memories to me.

It’s been years since I visited this channel and I think it’s awesome that you’re still around and still making Beatles style music. The Beatles style cover of “All I Have To Do Is Dream” still pops in my head occasionally, and now I think this one will too haha. This totally sounds like something John would’ve done in 1964-65 era, he loved doing these old songs with that rock and roll swagger. And I can definitely imagine Paul and George doing those sweet backing vocals.

I like what you do BUT this song is not Beatle worthy. We called this bubble gum music. It has stupid lyrics. You did your best with it. Instruments are interesting. I still encourage you to keep up the good work.
