1-2 inch Shackle Drop on my 1978 c10. Finally leveling her out.

Today I got an itch to drop the rear end of my Chevy square so I decided to put together a quick video on the best way to get it put on. I purchased the part from Advanced Auto Parts for just 50 bucks! Y’all check out the install and i hope this helps someone somewhere! Enjoy and keep building!

You put the flat side to the rear right? I seen peoples videos where they put the flat side to the front.

Do you think it will work the same on my long bed. It looks like your shackles our little bit further back than mine

Cory, my long bed is like yours and yes a typical 1 - 2 inch drop shackle will work fine. You will not need to cut a bed rail its simple job. Check around the prices are all over the place and look closely and buy one well made. Suggest you spray all four bolts with a quality lube several times over a week or so before you attempt to remove them.
