Love Brother Skinner, he was my favorite professor at Ricks College long ago. Wonderful insight!

To sit at the feet of all these different scholars is an amazing blessing unequalled anywhere. Thank you providing us with exposure to knowledge that we could never get otherwise.

Andrew Skinner has taught me more about Jesus Christ (other than Pres. Nelson) than anyone else. I'm so grateful for him.

I learned the saying from my sweet mother-in-law. She said it this way “thanks for all you do and all you think and all you think you do “ 😁

I was surprised to hear Andrew Skinner cite the NIV. I thought scholars didn't view that translation positively because its accuracy is questionable.

Apostles have quoted the NIV. Here's an interesting article by Dr. John Hilton III johnhiltoniii.com/is-it-okay-to-use-bibles-besides-the-king-james/

@@FollowHimPodcast Thanks for your response. I wasn't questioning the use of translations other than the KJV. My understanding is that scholars don't generally cite the NIV because it is not considered as accurate as other translations--such as the NRSV. Maybe I'm wrong. Regardless, thanks for an excellent podcast.

Hank, having the Diet Coke run out is bad. Having the toilet paper run out definitely qualifies as an increasing unfavorable condition. 😉

I thoroughly enjoy your podcasts, they add insight to my studies each week. Please DON’T go back to describing John by something from the lesson, that part just bugs me and distracts.❤
