Wii's bundled with Wii Sports were also more expensive as a result. Nintendo wants to keep costs for the system as low as they can to retain the $300 sweet-spot. Bundling would also constitute forcing a game upon people who might prefer to save some money and buy something else instead. Nintendo are giving people the *option* of whether they want to buy this game or not.

I can see this selling pretty well. Its meant for the audience that has "party nights". My brother has a game night every week where he and his friends play arcade games and the like. A portion of the gameplay consists of those digital board games you can play that has as many players as there are smart phones in the room. Price is pretty steep but nintendo is catching on

This is a video game where you don't look at the TV. A *video* game sans the *video*. Please Nintendo. There's innovation and then there's just the wrong market. I think Nintendo should make separate toys for these sort of ideas. HD rumble could be great but if this is the only game that makes real use of it I will be pissed that it raised the price of both the console and controllers for no good reason. "glorified". it's marketed as a full game, but let's be honest, it's just a bunch of party minigames that show off the joycon's ridiculously advanced motion sensors. unless there's some hidden depth to it or some more content that we haven't been shown but that's unlikely.

There's 24 something mini games, meaning there is a lot we haven't seen.

so there's a bunch of minigames... but are there more gamemodes? more stuff to do other than, well... multiplayer minigames? is there something related to online play? (although i'm not so sure how well that'd work...) basically, is there anything else to do other than play these 2-player minigames? they might be varied if there's so many of them, but if they haven't shown off anything else then i doubt the game has any more depth than this. unless nintendo proves me wrong by revealing a shitton of other stuff then this game is definitely not worth $50.

Well the genre of the game is party so it's meant to be played with other people. This is the type of game you really need to feel to understand. Because the HD rumble and sensors are so accurate it makes for a really fun game. Hiring live actors to demonstrate the games probably drove the cost up, I could be wrong, I think it's better with live actors though.

At first, I was like how are gonna play this game!?!?! And now after watching this, I get it know and it doesn't look that bad, looks kinda fun to me and a little creative.
