Maybe because of the adorable art style and the mechanics for solving the puzzles? I haven't seen many games that use a cutting mechanic in this manner. There seems to be a lot of variety as well.

It looks very fun too, the facial expressions are very cute and also these cutting mechanic i never seen something similar on a puzzle game, and the fact that you can play with a friend just makes it even better.

This segment of the Treehouse live was probably the best of them all. Most of us were watching this and thought "meh" at first until we saw you guys play and how fun and hilarious it was. I was reading the comments live and they literally made me laugh out loud. Wish it would have a physical release but 20$ for this is perfect. Looking forward to playing it! Great job on presenting the game. Kindra and Eric, you guys solely convinced a lot of people to get this game, and I'm one of them. :)

This game reminds me of playing co op portal with my nephew. Made me want to bang my head into the wall when we weren't on the same page but also there was a sense of pride when we pulled through a puzzle together

I think I would have felt that way a couple years back, but they DO have a point. The game will have a different experience depending on who you play it with. So as a veteran gamer and lover of puzzle games, I think this game will have a different "fun factor" and "challenge" to it when played with someone who is probably clueless to things like this. I mean, just listen to how they have fun trying to explain to one another what they're planning on doing. I think I'd have more fun hearing what my non-gamer friends have to say in response to stuff like this.

is anyone surprised that Nintendo is kind of quietly releasing this one. no official trailer, no appearance in any of the switch trailers, not even the super bowl extended cut. it seems like Nintendo wants this game to appear out of no where. I am personally hoping this game is good. i will definitely get it when it releases, it looks like a fun game to play with a friend or parent or even grand parent.
