Nintendo games don't take up much storage, botw takes up around 13 gbs. Unless you download every single huge game released for the switch you're good for the consoles lifetime.

gsa9online yup, i got a Terabyte HDD for my wii u, and i bought all the biggest games (I'm a Nintendo collector) and i still only used 57Gigs (25 more of extra save files and stuff) thats not a lot. Now that its cartridges it will be so much easier to have unlimited storage.

Except SD cards have much higher failure rates than HDD's. You will have to replace it down the road. Also load times are bad on SD cards.

People comparing the price of this to things like Ps4 and Xbox are just dumb and are realy not thinking things through! The price of the switch is VERY competitive. Yes im comparing in £'s but the point is the same.So PS4 was £350 at launch. Had ONE controller and no games. So to buy another controller was, and still is, £55. Add to that a game, thats another £55. So in total to get a ps4 with two controllers and a game is £460. Now look at the Switch. £280 for for the Switch itself. You get TWO controllers so its already cheaper than ps4, but okay, if you are going to complain lets add a pro controller. Thats another £60. Then you want a game. Thats £50 in most places now. So for the switch with THREE controllers and a game is £390. Thats £70 LESS THAN PS4 WAS AT LAUNCH. Oh but silly me, the switch is a portable too. So lets add another £150 to the ps4 to get a PS Vita so you can play games on the go. And lets add...oh, nothing, to the switch. So thats £510 vs £390. Now whether you like Nintendo or not is not the point. You cant argue with the Math. The price of this system and its accessories is fine.DO THE MATH PEOPLE..

MtMarshi Jesus, you're stupid man. This is hilarious! Look at the power in PS4 in comparison to the Switch. The fact that Switch (which is built off of 5 year old Nvidia technology) is anywhere close to the pricing of the consoles that are actually close to current graphical fidelity standards and have 3rd party support is ridiculous. Also, don't add "worth" because it can be played on the go. This is first and foremost a handheld that can be plugged into a TV(as shown by its weakness, game designs, and marketing in Japan which is always more honest since Nintendo likes to pretend we don't see/hear anything that happens in Japan) and should be compared to Handhelds since they're in the same power/quality family. Debug Vitas used for review and testing had HDMI out, so that is the best thing to compare switch to, not PS4/Xbone. The "math" (lol, thats still stupid) this is overpriced and only has such a high price because of Nintendo's insistence on putting stupid gimmicks In their consoles.

Nathan Palmer 5 year old nvidia tech? I highly doubt that. Its not a X1. If anything its a HIGHLY modified X1 with X2 elements and It provably is a tegra X2. Which goes to the ballpark of ps4. And the wii U was already much more powerful than a ps3. The switch is significantly more powerful than that. If what I hear is true, the 900p 30fps demo of botw was a hasty port of the wii U version and they are optimizing for 1080p 60fps. Thats more of a gap than the wii U had with ps4. Also just saying, the vita had a 250$ launch price.

The pro controller is not the only controller you can use and you can play the switch MANY different ways, so stop complaining. Second, Launch titles are not the only things that decide the future of a console and we still have a month or two until launch day so they could release plenty of games in that period of time. +RyanbroGameMaster For what it is, it's not under powered. Do you really think at 300 bucks you could cram a high performance pc on that? (And just in case you like to compare solely power, consoles don't hold a candle to pcs). How much battery life do you get from ps4 or xbox? Can you carry them around and play on the go? How many and what games did other consoles have when they launched? You can't compare a new console to ones that have been out for a long time like that and expect everything to be the same. Again ps4 and xbox have a paid service as well, but nintendo has it for free until they have more to offer later in the year. Check again in a couple years and see whether your points still apply, if you truly want to compare it to others on an equal footing.

inyojelly probably purely for manuals (those games that have them), organization (harder to lose), and aesthetics (looks better). Another big factor is shelf space. If the Switch cases were really small, it would take a lot more games to fill out a shelf and create an eye catching display.

Ok! Everyone needs to chill on pricing didn't hear anyone complaining about a $1,000 iPad or a $300 iPod touch. Come on use some common sense here. $70 for the pro controller when the Dualshock 4 controllers and Xbox One controllers cost $60 and might I add the Switch pro controller comes with gyro controls and the HD rumble and also an NFC sensor oh yeah and USB-C. Also the PS4 was $400 at launch and the Xbox One up to $500! And we can't speak solidly on the switch launch games yet since more is yet to be revealed and there could be other games releasing in other territories oh yeah and it isn't region locked so there's more games for yah. Also the switch comes with the two joycons the straps and the grips the dock and an HDMI cable. So we can't really complain about pricing when we look at other products in surrounding industries. So please chill with all the rants of the pricing

How terrible! You don't have to install games, so this space is strictly for digital download games. (the game cartridges even contain space for save games it would seem.) So sure, if you're obsessed with digital downloads, then the 32 gigabyte internal space is going to be quite an issue sooner or later. But otherwise it really won't matter in the first place... $70 is a very good price. It has an NFC reader, motion controls, rubber grip, good weight, 40 hours of battery, see through design, and it looks very ergonomic and premium.

I have 2 issues with this video. 1) The Joycon grip you were showing is not the one that comes with the console. You only had the charging ones. They both had the USB C port at the top. Some people could be misled by this. The charging and non charging grips are also slightly different in colour. I was disappointed that you set that up to fail in showing it, but at least you made it clear that a charging grip doesn't come with the console by default. 2) Nothing in this video is new to me. Given I have been keeping up with news about it as it comes out though. But something new would've been nice. I'd hardly call this a hardware review as much as displaying available accessories and minor tech insight. None of this will stop me from buying it though. I have pre-ordered everything, including the LAN adapter, except the wheel, which I'll get when Mario Kart comes out.
