I'm working on learning it. Even though it only uses 4 notes, The time signature (or lack there of) is what throws me off lol.

What exactly does "achtung" mean? Seems to be a common theme with German number stations.

I thought the same thing lol either that or she had to basically scream into the microphone in order for her voice to be picked up clearly

What if she's panicked because an enemy is holding a gun to her hear forcing her to read incorrect instructions to her agent leading him into a forced trap? creepy

Usually these things are said via a number generator machine, basically something with a numpad that can be programmed to use any sort of voices for the purpose of the number station

Why is it that everything Russia and Germany did during the war was sketchy as shit?
@cheguevara8853
@cheguevara8853 9 жыл бұрын
thevideoace6, this broadcast was Polish. The language is just in German. This likely is just a spy code, to receive certain instructions after being told what radio frequency to listen in on, and based on what the noises were, a Polish operative would carry out a task. During World War II, such tasks were daunting, and necessary. The Russians would use this method much more often during the Cold War, but, albeit, not with creepy carnival music.

Because only the sensational stuff makes good stories. They probably did lots of ordinary boring stuff too, but it was, well, boring, so it doesn't get made into movies.

@@verlatenn Operation Paperclip was an intelligence program headed by the U.S in which they took over a thousand scientists, engineers, and the like from the Third Riech at around the end of wwII (I'm assuming youtube auto flags comments that have the actual word in it, hence why he used "they") some of which were directly involved with The Party. The goal was to utilize German intellect to develop the U.S's arsenal of rockets, bio, and chemical weapons during the Cold War. I reckon this is what OP is referring to
