There is a shortage of sweet crude at many refineries, plus distillate supply is typically lower at the end of heating season. That’s two strikes. The continuing supply line issues may be a factor in fewer loads and bad load rates. Many parts of China are in pandemic lockdown, reducing products from there. $5.50 a gallon, where's the profit ? Again why is there shortage's ? Maybe just maybe they don't want to pay for shipping.

My opinion and not all drivers are in this position but I believe the real problem is people taking on to much debt then doing anything it takes to make the payments. But that's just not a winning strategy in high rate times and low rate times.

Diesel that has almost always been cheaper is now more expensive, it's cheaper cause it's way less refined than gas and yet somehow it's more expensive.
