My kids and I also made a trip to Acadia in May 2022 in my Taycan. It was the one time that I actually had range anxiety as there were only L2 chargers in and around Bar Harbor and no L3 fast chargers for 100+ miles. It was definitely rough.

Just how useful has the Supercharger access been to your road trips? I saw you using them at least twice. I take it there were no other DCFS options around that area and they bailed you out?

I've used them a bunch now with the Rivian. I'd generally say they have been great options to have and we've used them when they are more convenient. This is usually because their locations are better than other DCFC. Tesla overall seems to do better with being less of a detour from the highway and putting chargers in where there are more restaurant options that work better with the whole family. On this trip especially, we used the Rivian ones where we could, but Tesla everywhere else because they lined up better with our needs to stop and eat. None really bailed us out as we had other options, they were just a more optimal location for us.
