You don't want to remove the shock like this. You just want to wedge the thin pliers between the tower and shock cap, then just twist. You don't ever want to squeeze the shock cap because it will be binding next time you put it on.

You gotta work them balls to loosen em up on the small scale stuff. The micro drift cars take a month to work them balls in.
@one4all8856 күн бұрын
@ProNoobRC that's different. If the cap is binding, you want to pinch the cap and ball stud together to make it conform to the ball stud. But punching the plastic cap itself will ruin it and will cause binding.

I’d recommend thicker shock oil. I have these shocks on a Carisma GT24 with the proline crawler springs and 50 wt oil and it’s still pretty bouncy. The shock piston doesn’t cover much of the cylinder area.

We ended up with 35 wt oil and uses the oring packs from bottom of stock shocks as one of the shocks developed a leak

One issue mine has is that one rear shock has much more dampening than the other. I opened them up, and the oil level looks good on both. On slick smooth surfaces, the buggy pulls to the left. If I adjust the trim and then go back to carpet, it then pulls to the right. I see aluminum micro-b shocks on the Losi website…think I’m going to pull the trigger.

Took a look last night at all those sweet optional parts coming up! Gonna make sure I fully kit out this buggy!

Got the aluminum front shocks in already…they are definitely smoother than the stock plastics. It always took a little extra push to get the stock shocks to start moving. Hopefully the rears aren’t too far behind…the horizon website says January.

Eliminator RC is a damn rip-off. First thing I see, is an Arrma Vorteks 3s for $400 and it shows a crossed out list price of $445.....What a scam. A 3s Vorteks is $330 new, from anywhere else..............
@ProNoobRCАй бұрын
Just checked on Google. The average Canadian pricing on that model is 446 to 466. Canadian. $330 USD I see from Arrma.
