1/350 RN ZARA [Trumpeter] - Part 1/3

In this episode we will start building a 1/350 Trumpeter RN ZARA warship. We will make the hull of the ship, add photo-etched railings and paint it in basic colors, which will be slightly more than the standard ship. Specifically, the deck itself will be a total with 4 different colors. Insane! Doesn't seem like much work? See it yourself. I invite you to watch and wait for the next part.

Don’t know if you will still see this, but I remember when this video came out and it was very exciting. I was never interested in this specific ship, but it’s growing on me. Does the photoetch you use come with the ship, or did you buy it separately? If so what brand is it?

Metal parts was in the kit. I used only a few extra parts from other models.

Me dear friend! U got an excellent airbtush (I got the same). BUT! Why dont u see the dots of paint using it (with white color for example)? How! The paint must flow from the airbrush with invisibly small drops. Just try to increase the pressure. It is a common problem I see on utube but usually with cheap Jas airbrushs. The desck on the stern - there is a really big gap between it and hull. It seems that u used some putty on it, did u?

Hello I'm interested in this model as well, but I'm curious if there is some kind of marking on the hull where the waterline has to come or if you have to apply the maskingtape freehandedly.
