Hey Ebroin, would you mind making a tutorial series on tips and tricks in. Modeling? It's very inspiring seeing what you can build and it would be cool to have a dedicated series from the basics, to the advanced stuff you do. I mean i already learn a lot from your videos, but a dedicated guide on how to use Magic sculpt would be amazing for example. Or even one about the basic equipment you use or recommend (and perhaps how you organize your workbench whilest being at that) Idk if that's possible for you to do in terms of time investment, but i would assume a lot of people would be thankful about that. You're one of the most skilled modelers I've seen and I personally would love to learn more.

@@EbroinSong No worries, I learn so much from your videos, esp about post shading and paint effects, my own scale models are ten times better now, like 5% as good as yours, which I am very proud of. I even tried some sculpting after watching you sculpting figures. I used fimo polymer clay and silicone tools, it went really well. About 1% as good as yours. Thanks for your amazing content.

I love the way you never accept less than "correct" and will do things again if you don't like it - it's inspirational! I have been wrestling with a horrible kit for weeks (1:58 Glencoe DH-112 Venom) and you have inspired me to go back and correct all of the incorrect details and get them right. Patience!! I started to use Magic Sculpt because I have been so impressed with what you do with it and I have 2 questions, if you wouldn't mind sharing your expertise: 1. Your magic sculpt is less sticky and more waxy than mine - do you leave it to go off for a while before you use it? 2. You use polished toothpicks for the sculpting - how do you polish them, because mine just get sticky? Thank you in advance and I cannot wait to see parts 17-30! :)

Damn, I love your work. I love how you sculpt things with such an ease. Like, yeah, a 5 mm wide blast bag for a model gun, no problem :D Also, I have a question. How would you scuplt a helmet? Standard US M1 helmet used in WWII. But, as a separate unit. I have found a photo of my countryman serving in US army. On the photo, he has his helmet in his hand. And I thought to myself, how hard could it be, right? It took me two days to figure it out and make aceptable helmet. I am curious how a pro would do it. I am using Super Sculpey, just fyi.
@EbroinSong3 жыл бұрын
I would harden a hemisphere shape of Magic Sculpt and make right shape by sanding. That is what I normally do when I am making a helmet. Thank you for the comment!
@Zaaphod3 жыл бұрын
@@EbroinSong Yes, that was my first solution. But, I needed the helmet do be hollow. He is holding helmet in his hand, insides facing the observer. I tried hollowing it out, but I guess I do not have correct tools for that.

First... this is not a criticism at all. You are amazing and I could only dream of being on this level. I look at my 1/350 USS New Jersey and apologize to it after every video you post on this project. This is more of a question. Did you do any math for the scale of those rivets? The seem a bit large to me. I could be wrong and I think it looks great aesthetically. Just curious since I've never seen a build with such detail and I know whenever I've tried to scratch build I usually mess up the scale.
