The first review I have seen on this kit. I already have a display case made and ready for the finished model. Thanks for giving us such a great view of what’s in the box. Cheers from Sydney, AU

Another amazing model kit from Trumpeter. If it had the next Enterprise decals, it would add to my collection of ships and starships.

Very nice BIG kit, but I need an addition to my house to build and display it.😁

It looks like a really GREAT KIT! I AM SURPRISED that with so much detail that the Air Wing & the Bridge windows ISN'T molded in clear through!! P.S. Correction: MY BAD! They do have clear bridge windows included with brass framing.

At 19.00 approx he shows clear bridge windows for the island, assume this is an option?

@@petehoskins1267 MY BAD! I just caught that, THANKS! They still don't include the clear Air Wing though! I don't know about now, but they used to have a very wide-ranging variety of 1/350 sc aircraft & helicopters avalable in clear, including most (not sure about the F-35) of the aircraft & helicopters included in this kit!

I have to smile when people say they have to make an addition to their house to have a 1:350 scale CVN-68 class model. I have a great friend down in Florida that has a 1:96 scale USS George Bush CVN-77 that we modified from a CVN-68 class hull set. From Scale Shipyard.

Very nice one deck piece not like the Tamiya USS Enterprise. Looks like planes on deck and others in hanger or on lift to deck. It would be a long build but nice build.

Great Review of an impressive kit. Wonder if the V-22s might be carrier on board delivery CMv-22s rather than the USMC MV-22s.

Nice, But They should have provided Decal Options for The Other Ships in the Class,Like the Enterprise,CVN-80.
@trydrew8 сағат бұрын
Aftermarket may provide, but two things to consider; first the sister ships may vary in fine details, and Secondly, they will likely save those for a rebox down the line, you know because they want to make money.

Outstanding dude, and by the way thanks for the update on my F-35C 🤙

I notice that they give you 2 aircraft per fighter sprue, but only 1 tail and 1 set of landing gear. so, your airwing got cut in half. It does give you the choice of folded or not wings.

Thanks a lot Brandon, I just said I had enough kits, and enough ships....now I'll have to sell my Constellation kit with the MK-1 details set and get the Ford....yeah, thanks a lot! 😂

I like the aircraft kits better that the clear plastic ones. When does the come out for sale?

Just wish the aircraft were molded in clear, maybe they’ll do aftermarket aircraft kits in clear!

How can a toy company obtain so many updated military details?
@jamesmaroon616115 сағат бұрын
So I am assuming that you were in the military. Were you? I served in the U.S Marine Corps. I was in from 1982-1990. Are you going to use photo etch parts with this? There are manufactures that make those. I have a guy on KZbin his name is Davemac builds. He is building the USS Enterprise currently. Looks like your going to be busy for awhile

Looks like a nice kit - but I cannot get over how oversized all those tie-down locations on the deck seem to be.. Hmmm😕 - or is that just me?

It's too bad they don't do anything with the hanger bay. That's where most of the actions are at.
@williamnoll7935Күн бұрын
Actions as in parking and maintenance? If that’s the case, then all the REAL action is in the Engineering Spaces!
@cv63vet9823 сағат бұрын
@@williamnoll7935 Well, that would be great too for the model if they have parts for the engineering space. along with the mess hall, berthing, weapons magazines. I was asking for the hanger bay because it doesn't include the bulkhead and motors for the hanger bay doors.
@markkrumrey623823 сағат бұрын
Lack of extra detail in the hangar deck is probably a cost saving effort to keep costs and size of box down. There isn't a whole lot of viewing space with only three elevator bay doors. Leaves room for the scratch builders and aftermarket folks. As it is, it's a nice hangar deck with the tie downs molded in.

It’s kinda too bad that trumpeter has moved away from the clear canopies on the aircraft

@EErtsfd10 сағат бұрын
@ I get the humor ha, but the Trumpeter Nimitz hull had a waterline/full hull version. That said, the full deck piece might be the compromise that makes this okay. 😃
