Chad Pennington had such incredible field vision. Whenever you looked at his stat line after a game, pretty much every eligible receiver had a catch. He spread the ball everywhere and what he lacked in arm strength, he made up for with pinpoint accuracy. My favorite Jets QB of all time hands down.

Last time Jets came close to hosting a postseason game was in Rex Ryan first year when the 5th seed Jets made it to the AFC title game by beating the Chargers in the divisional round, but the 6th seed Ravens lost to the 1st seed Colts in the divisional round.

This was the Jets’ most recent home playoff game to date. Remarkably, the final score of this game was the same as the 2000 NFC Championship… which was the last time the Giants won a playoff game in Giants Stadium. As a Giants fan, I love this weird coincidence.

Very surreal. That said, this game is one of the worst All-Time performances by a QB in NFL History. Peyton Manning had some atrocious losses in his career, SB48 being the worst, but this one is almost tied with that one.

@Marist Old Boys Chad had the potential to be a great QB, potentially a HOFer. The problem was that Pennington was never good in the clutch. He could never lead his teams to comeback wins against the Postseason-Qualified Teams.
