My dad died Christmas Day 2020. I came home and said Merry Christmas Daddy.. and he was just laying there stiff as a board. I took care of him for 5 years after he came home too his wife laying in the bed dead the same way. The day before Christmas we had got into an argument over rent. I explained to him that my unemployment benefit was up as of December 16. That things would be kinda tight. So he stressed heavily about rent and Christmas. I told him it would be ok because stimulus money would be coming. It’s February and I’ve barried him with no help. Thank god he was a military vet. The plot was free but still had to pay 6000 the for funneral. And even till this day no help from the stimulus or unemployment. Bills steadily coming in. And eviction in FULL effect. Thank you representatives of America for showing me what it’s really like to be an American.

The government should have gave us $1,400 back in October 2023 and they should have gave people in July an extra 1400 and at Christmas now the interest rate has gone up so much they might as well give people $2500 especially the people on SSI and SSDI

They aren't basing it on 2019, I have to claim recovery rebate and lose a dependent who I would have gotten a check for in 2019. I think they purposely didn't issue my 2nd stimulus just so they could use 2020 information and cut off my dependent. If you file 2020 taxes before they send the stimulus you might be ok.

My cousin is studying law and showed me proof that we don't have to pay taxes. I am going to look more into this, but will probably not pay any more because our own government doesn't show it cares about the tax payers like myself. I lost my job due to my diabetes and haven't got my unemployment going on 3 months and they keep telling me it's coming. This reason and others is why I am thinking about not paying taxes any more. This country takes and takes and gives to the rich while the poor die and bleed out. Now they want to lower the stimulus to $1000. That should not stand because we were promised $2000. The sad thing is that the people who vote our politicians in are sick and tired of being lied to and how they take so long to do what they said they will do.
