Absolutely LOSING my mind at the last part (around 29:20 ) because Dainsleif’s constellation is an ouroborus. His title is also Bough-Keeper which means tree-keeper and you’ve already theorized that Dainsleif would go to the Irminsul trees to answer Lumine’s questions about Teyvat and the world. So using your theory, Dainsleif is the snake guarding the tree of life and the philosopher’s stone/child. This could add another layer to his line, “Defeat me and command me to step aside to prove that you are worthy enough to save her.” That he says in the Travail trailer.

@@Ashikai you know after watching this video.. I'm more convinced that the BP cutscene is about Lumine and Aether. Because maybe they are going around from world to world in search of this genesis pearl (that can bring back the tree of life Maybe*) so that they can take it back to their own world and revive the dead tree of life. And also Lumine is referred as Princess by the abyssal creatures kinda nodding towards the line from BP that says the first heir was corrupted and believed herself to be the queen of this world. Also she was the first one to wake up in teyvat.

POST-VIDEO NOTES + CORRECTIONS: - So the picture of the emerald tablet (illustration) with the triquetra on it is not the one that's supposed to be here. The triquetra is not in the original (historical) illustration, but was added later for flair in a TV show. I was trying to get a higher res version of the illustration and did not notice the difference. I have since found a better one on... wikipedia. Go figure. I wanted to clarify that I am specifically referencing Hermetic Qabalah which is quite a bit different from Orthodox Kabbalah. Neither interpretation is necessarily wrong as they are both correct within their own contexts. I like to use metaphors I think a lot of people can understand, so this is also including my own interpretations. For example, traditionally, Chockmah means Wisdom whereas Binah means Understanding , but those are too abstract for me for practical use. So I liken Chockmah to a seed that is only fully usable when planted in the Ground(Binah), or else it will not sprout and grow. I treated each Sephiroth this way. The following is taken straight from wikipedia's tree of life page, just as an example of how I reached these conclusions, "After "Binah", the universe gets down to the business of building the materials it will need to fulfill its evolution and be creating new combinations of those materials until it is so dense that, by the stage of "Malkuth", the initial pure limitless energy has solidified into the physical universe."

Not super related to the majority of the video (which was great by the way! fantastic work) but if the Genesis Pearl is a seed, and the word for "god" and seed is the same in Hilichurlian, do you think there could be a possible connection between the two? It's shown that hilichurls can harness the elements, so it's understandable that they would view the source of the vessels through which elemental energy flows as divine. That combined with the theory that at least some hilichurls are corrupted Khaenri'ahns would have interesting implications as well

Despite being an important figure, I don't think the throne point to her specifically since she is not that significant to the story of the world so far.

For the broken triquetra, I saw another theory that talked about how it may be representing the three moon goddesses that can be found being talked about in one of the stories in the books that you can find while adventuring. I haven’t watched the video in a while, but I’m pretty sure one/all of the moon goddesses are now dead, which is why the moon in Teyvat doesn’t have phases. And thank you for the video! Chesed more accurately translates to kindness. We don't have a concept of 'grace'. Grace is a christian concept. Source: I am jewish, I was raised jewish. Also melech translates to king, but I guess there might be permutations of it that mean monarchy.

Love the video! I have a few scattered musings that may spark some ideas. First, in the Pale Princess, after the Prince of Light is betrayed and killed, his body is specifically noted as being stashed in a tree hole. I can’t help but suspect that this may be a metaphor for the the Irminsul tree, given the symbolism of the rest of the story. Next, what if the red cubes Lumine witnessed during the fall of Khaenri’ah are actually the souls/memories of the citizens being sealed inside the tree/leylines? After all, the Sustainer does seal the other twin into a cube in the opening. This may only be the most recent of such events, the tree may contain the anguished souls of countless innocents of past civilizations that have been unjustly imprisoned. If the previous speculation is true, what if the Abyss Order monsters weren’t the intended result of the gods’ interference, but rather an attempt on the part of the alchemists to escape such imprisonment, which ended up having (presumably) unintended consequences? It’s notable that the Abyssal Twin never actually says that the cursed form of the Abyss denizens was an act by the aggressors, merely that Dainsleif failed to prevent the kingdom’s destruction, and was forced to witness its citizens transform into monsters. The two events are only described as contemporary, not causally-linked. Assuming the previous conjectures are accurate, perhaps khemia is an attempt to harness the sealed power of the true creator/source of enlightenment, which is symbolically represented as the Genesis Pearl, sealed inside the earth and protected by a dangerous serpent (the Sustainer). The travelers were sent to “retrieve the pearl” insomuch as they are supposed to release the seal and restore the means by which people can escape the domination of the false gods/demiurge.

Another thought, what if the trees we see in the domains are petrified because the Sustainer/demiurge has tried to disable them? Perhaps they are attempting to control access to the tree’s power, using gnoses/visions as a means to siphon off that power and channel it into their own followers? Furthermore, what if the reason the traveler is capable of resonating with, and then controlling, elemental power is because that is actually the traveler’s power that had been stolen from them in the first place? Perhaps the reason the other twin seemingly has their power is because they already resonated with all the elements over the course of their journey, reclaiming the power that had been stolen from them? Smachurls are capable of wielding elemental power in a more primal way, from their stronger connection to the leylines. Abyss monsters may use Khaenri’ah technology to channel the Abyssal power to manipulate the elements. The Harbingers’ Delusion is likely modeled after the Khaenri’ah tech, but less regulated and safe.

Your lore theories are always fascinating and the amount of research done is just amazing, I love them. Now it makes sense why and how Khaenriah - an underground civilization - becomes the most advanced civilization, by mastering the art of khemia a.k.a alchemy, since they are the closest to the alchemical tablets and the "alchemy-benches" (the irminsul trees), since alchemy itself is the "art of creating anything", and the theory that every (well not every, but majority) form of "power" in Teyvat is sourced from within the earth itself, becomes even more plausible. Also perhaps the advancement of Khaenriah contributed to the "sour-ness" of the irminsul tree, somehow it was being misused by the citizen of Khaenriah (which led to Khaenriah's demise), to the point that the tree;s thought became ominous, i think it is very likely that the "misuse" is related to the things that Dainsleif really hate (remember Albedo's trailer, where Dainsleif said that if Albedo were to make any mistake, Dainsleif will take matters into his own hands directly), which also supports the theory that Dainsleif is the one guarding the pearl.

something I feel that you should know is that, out of the seven metals in alchemy, the one that represents the sun is Gold. along with the line about wisdom ascending and the current sumeru archon being the god of wisdom, this is leading me to think that Gold is the dendro archon. also, I think your theory about the emerald tablet might be proven right thanks to one of albedo’s talent descriptions. it reads: “This Geo bloom has an unusual property mirrored in the aim of alchemy. To rise from the earth, into the sky, and become the sun” loved your theory btw!

Well, at 20:58, the story told by Venti for me represents very closely the story of the 2 siblings (the mc and her brother/his sister) and to why did the mc's sibling started to help the abyss. You can see a lot of things that sounds close to the story, like the hero thinking she's the queen of the kingdom of darkness (or you can say the literal name of the sibling "prince of the abyss") or the the part of a follower who already went in her footsteps (the mc). it doesn't look from the story that the followers actually knows what's her final goal actually is (except of general idea of returning the peal), the only thing Venti says is that "a second crowned has already taken up the PATH where the first had stumbled". Moreover Venti literally tells you "this is the story of YOUR JOURNEY, of your tale to be told" like it's literally tells you it's your story (as the follower). as for the kingdom, I will use the reference from another theory video (kzbin.info/www/bejne/oKLciIB_mZyrbcU 2:08) that's talking about that the sibling were send by the true god to save the world of Teyvat, after the first sibling failed and became the prince of the abyss, the second sibling wakes up and start his/hers journey around the world of Teyvat. that's at least my theory about this cutscene, I hope you'll read it. I'll be happy to hear your idea about this theory. tnx anyways for reading!

My new theory is this; Dainsleif is looking to purify the world tree and that will unleash all the collective memories freeing the unknown god (the person he loves) from her corruption. The travelers are homunculus, just like Albedo, except their souls aren’t from Tevat. They’re from somewhere else. Someone is sending purification beings across the universe to occupy homunculus bodies and purify corrupted worlds. Worlds corrupted by Honkai

This is where Albedo comes in. Albedo will learn how to kill Gold.

This theory was absolutely aMAZING. I love how thorough and interesting your videos are! Though i do have one question, when i was looking at the “owl” carving on the domain tablet, i also saw something that looked like a snake (with eyes and fangs and slender body). Could it be possible that the domain tablet is actually visually representing the snake on either side (above and below) of the pearl, almost as if its looping around/ protecting/entrapped around it like the battle pass story intro and this theory suggests?

Thing about the relation between fruit and seeds that might be neat for the theory:: the fruit can be viewed as either 'food' for the seed once it sprouts [assuming the fruit rotted around the seed] or as a lure to get an animal to relocate the seed into a better situation for growing. In a sense either way the fruit is used as a way to help the seed grow. Food for thought

Well it's complicated and depends on who you ask. It's been estimated to be anywhere from 1,200 years old to 36,000 years old. Buuuuuuut I picked 12,000 as the point because scholars seem to agree that around 12,000 years ago was when the first proper records were referenced in Egypt. It's... a real rabbit hole tbqh. Ok, this might sound random af but here goes nothing. DISCLAIMER: I'm not a Honkai Impact player nor an expert of it's lore, i'm just trying to connect some dots based on basic stuff i know about Honkai. If we follow your line of thoughts, the tree is the center of everything, the core of the world, and the pearl is the tree itself. My assumption to this is based on the Gnostic Chrous story, The Unknown God was the girl sent to retrieve this Genesis Pearl, the power of this world, but she couldn't do so, the boy is Dainsleif, his lover (random assumption based on his dialogue when he says that "she too loved these flowers") Now, you might say that this doesn't make sense, Dainsleif is "from" Khaenri'ah, or so we have been told, BUT what everyone is ignoring is the fact that Dainsleif was one of the royal guards of Khaneri'ah and based on what our sibling said, he failed to protect Khaenri'ah, and our sibling says it as if Dainsleif didn't even try to protect Khaenri'ah in the first place, thus why the hate towards him. My theory is that Dainsleif couldn't protect Khaenri'ah because he is not from Khaenri'ah to begin with, he lost his memories as far as we know but as i said i think he comes from the "heavens" to retrieve the "genesis pearl", and he figured out how to do so but then he learned the truth, that his lover, the Unknown God, merged with the tree and now is a part of it, retrieving the tree would mean it's destruction and that would lead to the death of his lover, thus why he became the "bough-keeper". He joined the civilization of Khaenri'ah with the hope of finding a way to separate his lover from the tree and go back with her to their homeland, taking the genesis pearl as well. Protecting Khaenri'ah would mean to kill the Unknown God A.K.A destroying the tree, which is something he can't do, thus why he failed to protect Khaenri'ah, thus why he didn't do anything to protect them. Now, here is where i make huge random assumptions (aside from the ones i already made), i think the tree's energy is actually Honkai energy, Honkai or Houkai is described as a " manifestation of the unpredictable Will of God", now this sentence is way too abstract to take anything from it but we can make a few assumptions from it. God can be seen as the world itself instead of an entity It's unpredictable will can be understood as chaotic And if we analyze the world of Teyvat (and ours as well), the world's true nature is indeed chaotic, this can be seen in slimes for example, they appear because random elemental energy gathers in a specific place and it becomes condensed, giving birth to what we know as slimes, it's not an intentional event but rather something that happens randomly without any specific order, pure chaos. If the energy flowing through the tree is indeed Honkai or Houkai energy, in this case, chaotic energy, then that would explain why the Unknown god resembles so much to the Herrscher of the Void. And she might be one of Honkai Impact characters, could be the real Kiana Kaslana or Kallen Kaslana, my assumption that it might be some of them is because apparently their bodies can assimilate the chaotic energy better than others, thus why the transformation of the unknown god is different. It's core would be the tree itself. This assumption about the tree's energy actually being Honkai Energy would tie it with what it's known about it in Honkai Impact, which is that when humanity reaches a certain milestone in technology it causes a cataclysm to destroy humanity: The Unknown God (a Herrscher) saying "the sustainer of heavenly principles (god A.K.A the tree) the arrogation of mankind ends now", then destroying Khaenri'ah because they got access to the power of the tree.

I also think that the that we face is part of the transmutation process. Little bit like ingredients where the resin are the last one that we add to the mix. The circle in the center of the stone tablet can represents the space where the transmutation taking place. The triquetra with the broken part may refer to the third moon. The 4 "eyes" on top and on the bottom remind me to the portal that the abyss is using to move in all Tyvet.

At this point it's illegal how unnoticed your theories are. So far your the one I've found that has done the most research n gone the most in depth, so thank you! Firstly, in regards to the theoretical world structure of genshin (the Celestial-centric theory) could it be that celestia holds the pearl , which would explain why in the battle pass story its in the sky. Also, now in regards to Albedo, I do theorize that he was created by Rhinedottir using alchemy, which explains why his design even matches that of the domains and the tree. Also, when he said that ominous thing where he hoped the traveler would stop him, couldnt it just be in regard to uncovering the truth and retrieving the "seed", or even creating one, which might put the life of the people of teyvat at risk? I dunno I'm really bad at explaining these things but I hope it makes sense!
