I have a dim memory of having my ears flushed out as a small child because I'd put in several tiny balls of modelling clay. I don't recall putting them in, but I do remember the clay and how it tickled in my ear. The warm liquid used to flush it out was loud, but soothing. Overall a positive experience for me, though my Mum never mentioned it afterwards so I don't know how she felt about it.

A friend of his said he got a certain number I his ear so he thought he could beat this. This incident was an A&E visit and a huge telling of from the doctor as he was not a young kid. OOH I HAVE A STORY! I think I was about 6 or so, but they used to have these sticky rhinestone play earring things that were made to be stuck on your earlobe for costumes, dressing up, etc. Well, I forgot to take one off before a bath, and it ended up going IN my ear. Idk how my parents found out, but I do remember going to an ENT and seeing them pull it out with the forceps! None of us knew what it was until that moment and the ENT didn't understand at first until my parents explained. Needless to say, I never got to wear them again lmao. Seems wild they were even allowed to be marketed as such, but hey, that's late 90s/early 2000s for you lol

I’ve lost about 2 hearing aid wax guards in my ear over the years, absolutely no idea if they’re still there though

It looks like you really should get a few soft tipped suction tubes. A silicone tip can conform to the nessasary shape to seal onto objects like that corn kernel.

i hope you sent this to the manufacturer of the hearing aid in question. They have a design issue with said hearing aid and need to step up.

I expected there’d be a few funny items inserted by young children, but the play dough and baby tooth were especially creative! But that #1 definitely earned its place. I could imagine how you might find one or two or maybe three. But surely they’d notice after that many started piling up!

I've definitely had the back of my earring go into my ear, luckily tilting my head and shaking made it come right out

That one with the tragus piercing isn’t too crazy though. It’s one where the part that is front facing screws into the back, meaning you have to basically push the back part through the inside facing part of the ear. And given how small they are, it’s very easy to drop one of them trying to put it in and find it inside the ear. Actually surprised you don’t see more of those.

The baby tooth is the only one I don't remember seeing before. Your #1 segment was the only logical choice! When I first saw that all I could think of was "How did they not feel anything?"

When my daughter was about 3 she was playing on the floor and somehow got a twig in her ear. We have a wood stove so little bits of bark and wood in that area of the floor is common. My husband and I were both in the room so we know she didn't put it in her ear deliberately. It was simply a fluke that it made its way down in the canal. I could see the tip, but she wouldn't let me near it. So we took her to ER. The triage nurse removed it in a matter of seconds with forceps. She was seen by a FNP to check on whether the wood damaged her ear. Luckily, it had only scratched the canal itself, and not damaged the eardrum.

Is it just me but at 11:16 in the video where you are focusing in at the front did it not look like a single bristle just behind the wax on the right? You can’t tell because the suction tool was in the way if it came out with the wax. 👍👍 for the education
